Do you know an amazing reading teacher?  If so, consider nominating them for RARC’s Reading Teacher of the Year award. Each local council in Virginia is challenged to select its “most outstanding reading teacher.” Richmond Area Reading Council seeks nominations to select a candidate to represent our council. Please nominate an outstanding colleague by completing the form below and asking your colleague to submit all required materials. The award recognizes a reading teacher whose commitment to literacy is exemplary and unparalleled. The RARC Reading Teacher of the Year Committee will review all information received and will determine our candidate who will be submitted to be considered for the State Reading Teacher of the Year. The Reading Teacher of the Year who is selected by the Virginia State Reading Association will receive the OFIE T. RUBIN READING TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD with a $500 cash award.
