Below, you will find the flyer advertising Richmond Area Reading Council’s annual writing contest. Students in grades 3 – 12 are eligible. The deadline for the Young Writers’ contest has been extended until Friday May 6th. Please send writing pieces to Caroline Head, information on the flyer, for the committee to judge. CCPS teachers can send writing submissions to her at Bensley Elementary School through the pony mail system.
Finalists will be invited to a special celebration on May 24th featuring a presentation by the popular author, Steve Watkins. For those not familiar with his name, he wrote the Ghosts of War series. Please share this contest with your friends and colleagues.
