2021-2022 Richmond Area Chapter Calendar of Events
The RAC will host a Fall Conference in October 2021. Admission is free for members.
The Virginia State Literacy Association’s 55th Annual Conference will host educators from around the state from March 17-19, 2022 in Crystal City, Virginia. During this time, educators will explore all areas of literacy with nationally-known speakers who will share a variety of approached, methods, and strategies. Attendees will immediately be able to incorporate this information into their daily instructional routines. More information can be found on the VSLA website.
Nominations for Reading Teacher of the Year are due Mar. 22, 2022. The Reading Teacher of the Year award recognizes a reading teacher whose commitment to literacy is exemplary and unparalleled. To nominate an outstanding colleague, complete this form.
